Yep, Malaysian bootlegs is where it’s at. Some are actually legitimate releases for Malaysia, but both legits and bootlegs are pretty indistinguishable from each other. Just about half of my collection comes courtesy of Malaysia.

To this day I am continuously puzzled as to why Nintendo doesn’t rerelease their libraries. We know emulation is as easy as... pi... and they did it themselves with the ambassador program. I read this entire article and... I’m still coming up short of understanding it all. Is this just “adoptable OCs on Deviantart” but on a millionaire scale with semi-famous artists and cryptocurrency? First thing I do is set all the subtitle settings to “on” for whatever is available. I have a hard time following spoken dialogue in video games for some reason. Same for movies and TV shows. I’m not hard of hearing at all just... there’s some sort of disconnect and I need to be reading the words while hearing them.…

It might be newsworthy because this particular ban group wasn’t RMT in the sense that people bought currency and then used it in game. This looks like it was players directly offering real money for services in the game or goods in game? Which... I guess is slightly different.
