My grandparents have “wild” banana trees and the bananas have seeds like that. Not only are they seeded, but the fruity part itself tastes way different than store bananas. Just as creamy in texture, but less sweet and not as fragrant, even when really ripe. I’d say bananas and watermelons are probably our best

It’s a tossup, but I’d say Flower or the PS1 version of Resident Evil Director’s Cut. With Flower, that’s my unwind and chill game for one or two hours. Resident Evil is just an old-school good time, like playing through your favorite crappy B-movie.

Tangentially related, but does the Wikipedia app do something similar with text messages also? I was shooting the breeze with a friend about bucket lists and he told me it was on his bucket list to go to a Juggalo concert. We talked about that for two more texts before changing topics. Later on that day I was on the

Looks like they got sent the $20 version that pops up on Ebay that you buy when you can’t afford the real one. The version you purchase full well knowing it’s a bootleg, likely made with the same production mold as the original but with cheaper materials and labor effort. Perhaps a mixup at the production factory?

For me it’s certainly Dark Souls. That’s my go-to game when I need to turn my brain off and just be a creature of pure reaction. I lose time when I play and its really cathartic when I hit a boss wall, plow through it, and keep going. Whatever worries of my work day I had I quickly forget. Dark Souls is, weirdly, my

All I want out of this remaster is either scaleable third-person camera or honest-to-god genuine first person without having to rely on mods. Never have I see such a beautiful game be hampered so badly by an unusually oversized character smack-dab in the middle of the screen. All that effort into crafting the world

Oh hell, that’s a whole lot of games I’m going to be buying very soon...

Agreed.

I was on the fence about getting the new version (figured I’d just replay my Wii version), but.. this settles it. Debate over.

Well, “ai” is a Japanese word for love, which makes her a terrible weeaboo. And me one, as well, for knowing that.

Hmmm, I guess it’s time to replay the first game! And wouldn’t you know it, it’s on sale right now on the Switch. Delightful.

That’s kind of disappointing. The shift to anime-style kind of makes the characters lose... uh, character? Just generic in general. I always did like the original designs because it reminded me of Vagrant Story’s style. Oh well.

Lord have mercy, finally! Not excited for the convenience sake, but for the exploration aspect. I finally get to see what’s up with that tower and climb those stupid rocks in Western Thanalan. Hurray for verticality!

Agreed. Even without the creepy ass monsters, that movie was tense as hell. I feel my pulse picking up just thinking about the movie, especially that one scene with the rock fall... ugh.

Now if only they’d increase the rate of the DIY recipes versus sky egg rate...

Any game I play where I have the option of naming an island/village/town/whatever-kind-of-place, I always name it “Rabao.” I don’t know why, but that name has always stuck with me since the days I spent hauling in sandfish to the chill desert-themed music of Rabao. Naturally, my island is now named “Rabao.”

Oh man, just a few days ago I was telling a fried how amazing it would be to have a Nier remaster of either Replicant or Gestalt on the PS4 and... here we are! My excitement has thus intensified, yes!
