My car was worth a good amount less than the loan as soon as I drove it off the lot. Cars are never an investment but the amount that gets left on the table as soon as you buy one is ridiculous.

The quote shows that his spot was modified for his particular usage. Reading comprehension involves understanding based on context, not simply which arrangement the words are in. You should really learn to read between the lines.
My personal limit for “eh fuck it” is $1k. I’ve personally got some great runners and helped friends buy cars from 500-1000 that have turned into great DDs or had more than repaid their purchase price. At 2 grand begins what I call “real money”.
“The F-Type owner says that he apparently missed the bumper or possibly drove over it, because the bumper for his spot is shorter than traditional bumpers, specifically to not scrape on his low car.”
I think car product placement in movies can detract from the movie itself. Marvel’s never-ending parade of Audis, the invincible Mazdas of Deadpool. At times it becomes more of a car spotting exercise than a movie watching one.
His particular spot apparently used a different bumper than the others that would have prevented this. He, by his own admission, may have also driven over the modified bumper.
I do agree with the other commenters that a failsafe system should be in place to not crush or bisect things. However, it seems it is the owner’s doing that the bumper system that existed wasn’t in use for his car. He removed it for his needs with the car, consquently creating a hazardous condition for the parking…
Oof, that is a rather pretty engine bay. Closed minds will always have something to say, they fear the different.
Even Ram, who even as an FCA detractor myself, previously had a memorable face. It is now simply a chrome-clad square like it’s competitors. Trucks are growing larger with higher factory lifts than usability demands, the overly aggressive bling and chrome applications are closer in look to gaudy aftermarket products…
Oh cool, another factory bro-dozer.... yawn.
I wish they’d at least take some time to create a memorable front end again.
If there’s no steering wheel or driver, why is the center stack still offset?
If I no longer had the act of driving to occupy my time why would I want to spend it looking at a sea of plastic?
Welp, glad I didn’t buy it yet. Still going to wait, see you in a year Destiny 2.
The thickness of A-pillars in new cars is just as much if not more of a danger than rollovers themselves. I’ve lost SUV’s in the A-pillar of my Mazda 3, I have a hatchback with rear glass smaller than the laptop screen I’m typing on. Never had these problems even in my 1991 Celica that supposedly had “terrible…
I wish there were a sad face react for this. If Mazda gave us the magical combo of a long roof, manual, turbo, AWD in the 6, they’d have at least one definite sale in this guy.
As an owner of a 2014 Mazda 3 I absolutely hate the sea of faux carbon fibre on my steering wheel, instrument cowl, window switches and center console. It’s ugly, uncomfortable, grabs dust like no one’s business and looks like a 15yr old’s idea of “performance mod”.
Vodka is always clear.
The point is you don’t need the faux cladding, lifted, chunkiness that most S/CUVs on the market have. Instead a comparable wagon will hold the kids, handle better and might have more space not compromised by the design (Like the CX-3 has less space than the 3 hatch).
I dig the good sides of suburban living but the…
Sometimes, someone hands me a check and I have to put it somewhere. I like to do this without leaving my vehicle.
There are many options for upgraded bulbs, make sure you’re getting the right one and know what you’re looking for. TINTED BULBS HURT OUTPUT. Philips Xtreme Vision is a better option.
