I watched him try and fail to put thoughts together and MENTION RECORD PLAYERS and wake up to read and listen to the analyst takes saying “ThAt’S tHe PeRfOrMaNcE JoE NeEdEd!”  Like, what?  No one watching that could have honestly come away from that seriously thinking he had a good performance.

The aggressive slides at second at least have a semblance of a baseball purpose.  Dragging your feet into the ankle of the first baseman is just trying to injure another player.
