PLAY. THIS. GAME.
PLAY. THIS. GAME.
I just watched a great documentary about Prey by NoClip, and it is a completely original idea, though clearly inspired by System Shock, but when Arkane devs pitched the game to Bethesda, they were basically told “cool, but you have to name it Prey because we own the IP,” and Bethesda wouldn’t budge on that. So no, it…
that was my though, his terminology is a bit different, and i havent played ER yet, but in DS the bleed damage burst built up after hitting multiple times, and once it filled, you did a bleed damage spike on them. and the claw was very bleed oriented, so thats how i took it, hit and build up to bleed.
Batman Arkam Origins was somewhat this. It wasn’t a year zero, but it was year one, from how it played out.
I’m willing to bet that 12 million also includes the Directors Cut rerelease of Human Revolution that had the boss fight changes as well.
It only has 4 mainline games. If 2 or 3 of them are good... that’s pretty great! Deus Ex, amazing, Invisible War, bad, Human Revolution, great, Mankind Divided, okay. There are properties with much worse hit rates than that that get more chances.
I’m all for more Elias Toufexis, he just has such a unique voice. Immortals threw me off because of the accent, but when I came across him in both The Expanse and Horizon my immediate reaction was “Holy shit, that’s Adam Jensen!”
While I would recommend picking up the free copies anyway...
Would money have saved GLOW? Wasn't it a victim of COVID, early pre-vaccine world COVID at that. Unless they were going to spend that extra money to isolate the cast and crew for the time it took to shoot the whole season and to have respirators on standby I'm not sure how much more money would have helped.
They wanted the science-fiction version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
It is no worse than most other AAA games. It just got people going to hop on the hate train. Not that releasing a buggy game should be rewarded. My point is that most AAA games are buggy messes anymore.
At this point I think its clear that Cyberpunk is being held to different expectations than any other game, and it’s treated unfairly in some aspects. Of course it’s an RPG good lord. Many other games with far less are called RPG’s or at least Action RPG’s. But there is comments that still talk about it not having…
Literally everything that involves Lee Pace giving contemptuous glares is worth it. That might be all the Hobbit films have to offer.
I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree on that, because it’s really clearly CGI to me (and a lot of online sentiment I’ve seen so far), especially when compared to the real Jen Taylor (who is also primarily a voice actor, so it makes sense she’d voice a mo-capped version of herself). This is like a plastic copy with…
Invasion is genuinely so bad it’s hilariously entertaining.
You can always trust Halo fans to get real bent out of shape about a lore that is needlessly convoluted at best—packed with goofy proper noun names for everything.
Honestly For All Mankind alone would be enough, one of the best TV shows, space or not, I’ve watched recently. Mythic Quest and Ted Lasso are both delightful, and I also enjoyed The Mosquito Coast, and the first season of To Tell you the Truth.
Dude. Have you played Halo at all? Because your complaints are so off base it almost comes off as satire.
Plenty of adaptations are better than the original:
I still have no idea what happened on Invasion, and I just watched it the other week.
