They just made it look like the actress more. I also bet the first time we see her “materialize” she’ll be blue / coded as an homage to the original, and then she’ll shift into this new look.  Would have preferred her as blue throughout but it’s not a deal…

this is a TV show not a movie. the budget here is very different.

Even as someone who hasn’t played the games, I’m looking forward to this one after that trailer. I got a sense of the character, some good looking action and a backstory that can be built on.

You are the ONLY person I’ve ever heard say that. Of course liking tv shows and movies is subjective and all, and not everyone will like everything... but like... I want to yell at you and tell your that you’re wrong so much.

There is a minority opinion. I love the books don’t get me wrong. But for a TV show I think they have really done well with the Expanse. Amazing cast that was as diverse as the authors intended, with some killer acting. 

I mean, there’s a lot to hate. They’re objectively poorly made, and R* removed the ability to buy the original games to replace them with this trash.

I think REM acquitted themselves pretty well in the final third of their career. I’d say, aside from the dire Around the Sun, each record had some really good high points, with the final two being VERY solid records.
