Absolutely. The inventory in both games is absolutely painful to deal with.

EA and BioWare announced - in a rather low-key manner a while back that they would not make any more Collected Editions of games. IIRC, DA:O was the last game to have one. ME2 and 3, DA2 and probably DA3 will all require you to buy the base game and then any DLC separately, even when they are re-released on budget. I…
I'm actually more concerned about how similar the demon invasion looks like the, erm, demon invasion from WarCraft III.
You can play either - DA2 is a side-story to DA:O, but it does spoil the ending of DA:O - but the logical order is Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening - Dragon Age II.
Morrigan's in DA3 as an NPC, but she won't join the party (apparently).
The story is certainly vastly superior to DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS's generic save-the-world-from-monsters cheese. It's conceptually more interesting, exploring the development of a city and a society riven by cultural, religious and ethnic divisions over a period of seven years, with some topical elements thrown in (much…
It's not BioWare's finest hour. I think from an overall point of view, the francise is not bad but BioWare spent five years telling us how it was going to be as good and epic and the successor to BALDUR'S GATE II and it really didn't come close. In particular, the writing for the game was awful and most of the voice…
I presume you're including multiplayer with that? Because without, very, very few games are longer than 13 hours. If we look at games released this year, METRO: LAST LIGHT and BIOSHOCK INFINITE came in at around 15 hours each, and that's quite long for the FPS genre (where 8-12 is more the norm). TOMB RAIDER was also…
To be fair, I think he's counting multiplayer as part of the gameplay. So if you pour hundreds of hours in CoD multiplayer, you're getting a lot of bang for your buck. If you buy CoD solely for the single-player campaign, then yeah, they're very bad value for money.
Casino Royale formally rebooted the James Bond franchise and created a new continuity, so the revelations from Skyfall are not a problem, as we've only had one actor playing Bond since Casino Royale and everything tracks.
I suspect this more like collecting pieces from a downed satellite for some purposes more than building a spaceship. Or it'll be something to do with model, radio-controlled spaceships (although if there's a remote-controlled helicopter mission, I may scream; enough of that stuff in Vice City, thanks :) ). The game's…
I wonder if the sudden resurgence of space sim games (ELITE: DANGEROUS and STAR CITIZEN next year, a new X this year) may have encouraged him to drop the idea? Even if his game's focus was different, it might be better-achieved by mods for those games then creating a huge amount of tech from scratch.
The last official word from Bethesda was that the game hadn't met their quality standards and had been delayed, but that Human Head was still working on it. It had still been announced and was still the same project they'd been talking about since early 2011.
That's true.
I don't get this at all. BIOSHOCK is a very, very linear shooter where you have to kill, nay, slaughter on a massive scale, everything in sight with no stealth options or alternate paths. You can complete DISHONORED without killing or even fighting a single person (Daud excepted, IIRC). It has a pretty good (though…
Brand value is pretty important, so it will likely be DISHONORED II. They still called the sequel to BALDUR'S GATE, BALDUR'S GATE II despite it being set a thousand miles from that city and never going anywhere near it.
"HALF-LIFE 3 confirmed. It will be a spiritual successor to WORMS 2."
100% full agreed.
True, to a certain extent. However, BIOSHOCK is an alternate-histrory FPS franchise and SYSTEM SHOCK is an SF RPG one. They're not even the same genres, sharing only some thematic ideas. If you make a first-person SF game with RPG elements, you're already probably closer to the gameplay of SYSTEM SHOCK than BIOSHOCK…
Except Bethesda formally announced PREY 2 more than two years ago:
