The only thing that took me out of an otherwise amazing ep is the fact that apparently everyone has massive holes in their apartment walls.

Terrific episode. One thing I want to mention is that it also fixes a slight niggle from the previous episode (one which, to be fair, I probably should’ve seen coming and I’m sure other people did). Having Howard be offed by Lalo due to circumstance isn’t exactly the most poetic moral condemnation of Jimmy and Kim’s…
Minor thing but Lalo tells Jimmy to just point and shoot until he runs out of bullets
I’m really enjoying how Better Call Saul makes you hate Walter White, despite his absence from the story, because it drives home just how much labor and suffering and planning Walter destroyed with his petty ego trip. You kind of always got that Gus had spent an enormous amount of time and money building the…
God when I was in food service I’d have killed to have a guy like Lyle on staff. What an absolute team player. Probably speaks to how well Gus treats the Pollos staff as well, they’ve consistently been shown to be chipper and responsible.
Its amazing how you know how 99% of this is going to end but you’re still on the edge of your seat. I deadass half thought Gus was going to buy it despite being fully aware that this is a prequel.
I saw her in it. Her performance would have fit in better as the understudy at a local tri-state high school production. It wasn’t even that she couldn’t fill Barbra’s shoes - no one can! - it was that she was totally incapable of handling the score with even a modicum of competency in the way that should be expected…
Those two comments are the best short story I’ve ever read.
“The more you say I can’t say something, the more urgent it is for me to say it. It has nothing to do with what you’re saying I can’t say.”
Comedy Central’s Corporate
I no doubt at all about what Bale is discussing here and I do think because it has been so long, we’ve kind of forgotten how huge of a paradigm shift Batman Begins in itself was even before The Dark Knight.
Since a movie review is an essay, and essays have points, proving a point is the goal of reviewing a movie.
I like what Watitit’s done, definitely, and the first two Thor movies were pretty blah, but I think i’d be rather interesting to bring Kenneth Branagh back to direct a fifth and last Thor movie, after all the changes the character has gone through. Just wrap up the franchise in a differently weird way.
I’m gonna say it: I hated Clerks 2. And not just for grotesque stuff like the racial slur or donkey show jokes (although that’s definitely a big part of it).
The fundamental thesis of Clerks is “You’re wasting your life working a shitty, thankless job like this.” Clerks 2 undoes all of that and says “Hey, that shitty,…
It was Clerks 2 for me. I used to love ViewAskew so much that I have actually been to the Quick Stop even though I live in Canada. But Clerks 2 just felt like it was written based on a check list of jokes and references that Smith thought that fans were expecting, rather than making something new and interesting. The…
Somewhere out there is the superior, original British version of this trademark squatter who owns the “Wernham Hogg” trademark.
Trademark and domain squatters are such garbage people. On the other hand, hey, good for them.
Thankfully, Waititi stitches that use of “Welcome To The Jungle” into a larger musical theme involving Guns N’ Roses
Probably after 2 years of a pandemic, getting dressed up for an outing with a group of friends seems like a great time.
This trend is adorable. We need more adorable young men trends that do not include guns and trump flags.
