They just call it the Fantastic Beast series so I assume they are referring to the people as the fantastic beasts and to be fair,  Jude Law in that beard qualifies in my book. 

yeah. first film was fine, but the big epic worldbuilding shit was the least interesting part. the main quartet going on adventures, adventures that may include where to find some fantastic beasts, would be a lovely series.

Yeah, a bunch of lovable but inept losers trying to film a shitty Z-grade dinosaur pic in lockdown sounds infinitely more entertaining than what we’re getting here, which sounds more like Insider Hollywood Assholes Are Still Assholes: Lockdown Edition.
