even when he was at his absolute movie star peak it’s not like any normal person gave a shit about k pax or the shipping news.

he’s just so short.

you can say what you will about dr strange 2, but it made a lot of money. happy to see disney throwing him a bone here.

wouldn’t say i love the season, wouldn’t say i love the finale, but it all worked for me. definitely hasn’t outworn its welcome as much as something like ted lasso did, for me.

it was nice to be reminded that i actually like john cena. and i’m old buddies with matty so seeing him come into his own as an actor has been quite fun.

and not to say that channing and scarlett aren’t good fits for a romcom...this also feels like the kind of movie they’d be better suited to doing 10-15 years ago.

i meant “i’m not sure how to fully put this in words’, which ironically i made doubly true.

on the flipside, while it wasn’t the worst by any stretch, moon knight has to be the least essential thing the mcu has ever released. if anything from that show is even referenced again i’ll be very surprised.

haven’t seen the movie yet, but it looks so expensive it’s almost a turn off. i’m not how to full put this in words, but when the basic romcom budget gets to 100 million dollars it almost hits an uncanny valley or something.

i really am starting to get the idea that a lot of celebrities conflate ‘being famous’ with ‘being beloved’.

are you kidding me? longlegs is gonna pop off. it’s had an A+ marketing campaign. gonna be a huge hit.

he’s allowed to come back just as i’m allowed to go ‘kevin spacey? no thanks’, which is what i was already doing.

especially when it stars two men that women go positively nuts over.

really just sounds like you’re looking for something to complain about.

it’s really society’s loss.

i definitely don’t mind the wheel-spinning, i enjoy watching the actors act, i sort of like how much of a deviation this is from the show i started watching...but i can’t deny if you’re annoyed by a lack of plot this season must be interminable.

extremely funny to be like ‘i was surprised to see women turned off by the name “pussy island”

extremely underrated point is that he basically campaigned on zoom in 2020.

apple tv+ makes television that exists the least, is the only way i can phrase it.

i think denzel’s character looks like he represents a lot of the murky political machinations of the time (he also looks like he’s having a fucking blast)
