hey, if it was up to me, step one would have been to not make a shang-chi movie in the first place. didn’t mind the movie personally but i haven’t been compelled to rewatch anything mcu in years.

the thing i really liked about the last 2 deadpool movies is they hired actual action directors. i don’t love reynolds’ schtick but i’d be lying if he doesn’t have a complete and total grasp of the character, so i appreciated that he handled the comedy and the directors got to go crazy with action sequences.
lost of sense of what they should actually cost and they’ve completely eroded what a show being successful means, as well.
sequel is one thing, i think it’s crazy he hasn’t even cameo’d in anything or been mentioned by anyone.
if you really want to get technical they’ve all been firsts.
not every comic book is good!
the funniest part is we can’t even theorize what’s going to happen. used to be these comment sections were people guessing about the story...but there isn’t one, so it’s just a bunch of people going ‘i’m excited for this’ or ‘this sound like shit’ based on nothing other than vibes.
interesting take! i thought x was the more successful movie (in that i thought it did a better job of emulating 70s horror movies than pearl did emulating 30s technicolor movies), but i like them both a lot.
i like the idea that certain movie scenes are somehow unavoidable and inevitable, but it comes down to whether or not you’ve come up with characters who can handle them or not.
he’s a weird choice for either bourne or mission impossible, if we’re being frank.
yes but Bad Boys 5-D: Game Over is next if this one hits.
ambulance and then pain & gain.
the former.
yeah i mean i’m talking about 5-10 years from now so who’s to say what anything’s gonna cost (except all of it’s gonna be more).
i think he’s better in american hustle or hurt locker, personally.
iger seems to have made a bunch of short term decisions that immediately blew up in chapek’s face, but because iger had so much goodwill they were able to just blame chapek.
i have a feeling the promo price/‘free trial’ era is gonna end realllllly soon.
it’s a good movie! got held back because of the strikes so i’m stoked it’s out and people can see it. was worried it would get dumped on streaming.
bro, if you haven’t eaten out in 10 years you are going to have a fucking heart attack and die on-sight when you look at what is costs these days.
