this movie is having one of the wildest press runs i’ve ever seen.

100%. he’s a genre unto himself and almost gets ‘taken for granted’.

aside from the obviously ‘no it doesn’t’, what’s with the weird drug reference?

this is gonna be a mega hit.

and that multiple goes up even higher when it’s a comedy legacy sequel.

extremely funny to go further back to the well after successfully pushing the franchise forward.

rob reiner has seriously not made anything even remotely watchable in over 20 years. this is gonna suck ass.

it’s even less impressive when you realize he learned the song for the movie already!

it’s 2024 i’m reading an av club newswire about joel mchale and chevy chase fighting on the set of community

it’s such an overused premise it felt like curb had done it already in some way.

guy who waits for the clip at the oscars to decide whether he’s going to rent or buy a movie.

killshot.

like yeah i think it would have done a lot better if it was up against CODA

you could remove every 2023 oscar nominated movie from existence and still have a super competitive awards show. it was just a massively good year for movies. kotfm blew me away, but so did oppenheimer, barbie, poor things, and a dozen others.

just wait till the next one!

i liked the legally distinct laser swords.

christ even the clooney series is 5 years old now.

oh i agree but he usually doesn’t succumb to being that cliche. he usually comes off a lot less desperate.

love the idea of them throwing a 53 year old man in there with all these 20/30'somethings.

ike barinholtz was supposed to play him in a belushi biopic (with adam pally as belushi) and that’s closer but still doesn’t really work at all.
