I dunno. The whole debacle makes me a lot less excited to see Guardians 3. Right now it’s hard to imagine watching the gang quip their way through another zany adventure and not seeing it as some forced display that wouldn’t happen if the cast weren’t contractually obligated to be there. Or seeing the obvious places…

Disagree replace Johnny Depp with a Chinese pirate and the Pirates films would be fine.  They’re pretty much dead in the water here in N. America Pirates 5 made around $170 million with over $600 million in foreign box office.  Personally I don’t think those foreign viewers are as wedded to Johnny Depp as people think…

I don’t blame you. I mean, Avengers 4 will effectively be the “end” of the MCU as we know it anyway. It’ll be like leaving a comic after the end of an extremely long run by a talented creator.

And yet Johnny Depp, someone who actually hurt people, is still on the Disney payroll.

Unfortunately, I think I’m done. After they finish the story with Captain Marvel and Avengers 4, I’m done with the MCU. I’d love to say I’m done with Disney but they’re so ingrained in everything that I don’t know if that’s possible. It’s just sad that they sided with an admitted rapist over a guy who just joked about…

Lord, I could see them doing that. Not a knock against Howard, but I could see Disney just giving fuck-all about the movie and throwing him on it.

There is a big difference between writing an article that says, “This studio should try to cast actors representative of the part” and personally screaming in all caps at the actor, “YOU SHOULD QUIT ACTING YOU TALENTLESS WHORE”.
