Cap was not my favorite character as a kid. He was just, you know, that other guy. But Evans elevated that character in the same way that Reeve elevated Superman. After seeing him as Cap... He is Captain American. And in my mind, always will be. He embodied that role even more than Jackman embodied Wolverine.

Yeah... There’s a reason for my name.

That has been my theory of The Good Place since season 2 when Michael sat in on the classes. And I think Janet is either God or in on it.

This would be on par with the famous Angel puppet episode.

I recently did something like that with Defenders on Netflix, only watching the scenes that had one of the heroes in it. It made a much better show, I think. You only ever know what the heroes do, the pace is much better, there’s more tension as you don’t know about the conflict between the fingers of the Hand, and

No Driver or Driver II, no sale.

Yeah, alcoholic womanizer is probably not a positive picture of masculinity. It’s not what I was raised to think was, and I’m trying to make sure it’s not what my son sees as a positive view of masculinity. In fact, I’d say recognizing women as more that things is pretty positive.

What if he ends up in the Arrowverse for his Flashpoint. Not the DCCW Flashpoint. Literally, the main DCCW timeline.

JL made $160M less, but had around a $300M budget, while WW had estimated between $120M and $150.

And then they mess up All-Star Superman, culminating in Superman tossing Regan off the ledge. Because he doesn’t owe her anything.

Now I’m wanting Xavier to do that to him. “Holy forking shirt! You forking took my swearing? You ash hole!” And then the rest of the show being DP showing how awful he can get without using any of the MPAA disapproved words.

This outfit doesn’t even show much skin. It’s suggestive and it’s trashy. But damn... That cheap-ass coat... Those boots. I mean, what, is it better to show 3 inches of thigh through a slit in her skirt than her entire arms?

OK. The good. The hair looks better in that picture. It’s not perfect, but it isn’t awful. The fur coat looks like trash, especially with the boots and the slit in the dress. It just says, as someone else pointed out, “Huggy Bear.”

Take your star, you glorious bastard!

Also, they’d do better with a wig that wasn’t quite so hot-pink, but more deep orange-red pink.

I get that they wanted to put her into something other than a bikini, and good for them. So do the corsetty top, and something like a purple leather jacket or bolero or something. That coat looks fake and cheap and she looks like a homeless woman who’s turned to hooking.

“Woss the matter with you?” asked Big Ted, irritably. “Go on. Press ‘D.’ Elvis Presley died in 1976.”

It is so, damn good! The laugh and the look on his face! It sells that moment so well and is such an amazing transformation.

I prefer it to be someone else’s effort to get Michael to reform into someone worthy of the Good Place/redemption.

Season 1, the last episode, with the reveal of the spoiler and the way he handles it in character is what sells it for me.
