"[A]fter one narrow-minded viewer wrote to the network to complain about having to explain the concept of the 'gender switch' to his children, who apparently have no trouble dealing with the death and destruction that follows the Doctor everywhere."

There's mark-up and overhead with any product you buy. And Cutco is not out of line with pricing of similar knives. Like I said, my wife used to sell Cutco too. Sharpening a cheap set of knives is not the same.
Which is kind of my point. We live in a world where products are designed to be obsolete within a certain period. Given that context, selling pretty good knives with a lifetime guarantee to people who probably have mediocre to decent knives is not a bad thing.
"There was always something fundamentally uncomfortable about the Cutco model, something invasive about walking into a person’s home, sitting at their kitchen counter, and convincing them to buy something totally unnecessary." Followed by "The truth is, I still like Cutco knives. They’re still the ones I pull from the…
They actually covered that on the show, kinda, with saying they were going to extradite him to Delaware where he allegedly committed some of the murders.
This is true, it's just hard for me. Hulu is not as good as Netflix, it's hard to justify paying more so that I can avoid ads. Hulu doesn't have as much content I want as HBO Now, yet to get it without ads is barely less expensive than HBO Now. Any way I cut it, I feel like they're taking advantage of me…
Really? Ugh. I can't stand Hulu. Make me pay to see advertisements? Gee whiz, thanks!
I've watched Monkey Movie many many times. Luckily, it's not expiring, but the PBS series is… (I should have been more clear above). Unfortunately, my daughter doesn't always accept the movie - she has her favorite episodes. We'll figure it out.
Yeah, I'm not sure what we'll do if we don't have an easy source for Curious George (the series, not the movie, since I wasn't clear above).
Netflix says that Curious George is expiring on March 27. I haven't seen this posted anywhere, but want to make it known. This is very important for those of us who have children obsessed with "monkey."
I enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the film sites I frequent are not fans of Man of Steel or Zach Snyder so generally have had negative reactions. That being said, I don't read that many.
"…many fans have been left wondering what happened in its aftermath, and what it had to do with U.S. marshals played by Val Kilmer and Slash." I read that sentence and felt like I must have missed something in the Breaking Bad finale… Did I somehow miss major cameos by Slash and Val Kilmer? That doesn't seem like…
Just spitballing but as a street level hero, Batman wouldn't shock people the way Superman does. And I imagine they'll treat him like a myth a la Keaton Batman. Superman show in Man of Steel and it makes those with powers stand up and react. WW was at Themyscira when Gods came from the sky and destroyed Metropolis. …
I love Delta and the Bannermen and would argue it has its brilliant moments. My counterpoint to JPSG would be Silver Nemesis, not Delta and the Bannermen.
