So you’re willing to get charged with a felony because a guy broke your mirror? You sound well-adjusted!
If you search for the dumbasses name you can find videos of his that have been re-hosted by other people. As the old adage goes, once its on the internet its there forever.
I don’t think “running from gunshots” is an idea specific to kids.
Don’t forget this one. The best part is towards the end when he can’t even keep a straight face.

Right. The carrier widens out significantly from the waterline to accomodate the flight deck. Even if they wanted to put it through it likely wouldn’t be able to pass given the infrastructure along the sides of the locks.
I can definitely see the appeal as a retiree. Thanks for the response.
Theoretically the dimensions at the waterline would fit, but I don’t know that the military would be comfortable with putting its prized possession in such a precarious position. It would be practically indefensible while traversing the locks.
How discrete!
An RV is an expensive proposition for the occasional family vacation. I could see the appeal of renting one for a road trip, but actually buying one? Maybe if I was a retiree that was just putzing around the country.
It doesn’t fit in the Panama Canal, so around the horn it goes.
I’ve never understood the appeal of RV’s. If you want to be close to the wilderness, go camping. If you want the “luxury” of being at home, stay in a hotel. These things are huge, they suck down gas like its no one’s business, and they’re pretty damn expensive. Maybe I’m missing something.
I looked at the Facebook page for the Nimitz and its a bunch of photos of them doing repairs (along some good historical stuff). Might just be doing some work at home port before they head back out for training or deployment.
Right and that goes back to the reply I just posted. If the school was just a hobby school to teach people with money to play with modifications, then fine whatever. But its marketed as a vocational program. The tipping point is the acceptance of GI Bill money. It lends the program an air of credibility and legitimacy…
I never understood people asking to borrow the car like its a cup of sugar. I can give you a ride if you need, heck I can even go with you to Ikea and let you load up my trunk with your Swedish goods (as long as I get some meatballs). But taking my car out of my line of sight is a big ask and generally reserved to my…
The guy may have had valid complaints, but they don’t constitute scam, just a class that may not be worth the money.
And that’s fine! I believe you when you say that you have no stake in the story. I just wish you would have tried to pull more information from Hennessey besides what was presented to us. Maybe you did and that’s just what he gave you to work with. From reading the article it seems you just gave him room to make a…
