a time of year when a bunch of people with long histories of being terrible to each other get together and pretend as if nothing untoward is happening.

A remake of 12 would be enough to bring me back to the FF series.

Wow. Had no idea of it's Italian-American roots in San Francisco. Thanks for the heads up.

I made a cioppino the other weekend that was so good I wanted to cry.

My sister was part of an exhange program in high school and we had a 17 year old French boy stay with us for three weeks. We took him to Chicago for a weekend since he was a big Michael Jordan fan, and he said his favorite meal of the three weeks was the baby back ribs we had at the House of Blues.

I had the same problem. Last time I cooked with them, I sprayed some Pam on a pan and toasted them ever-so-slightly on both sides. Really did the trick.

Also pickled red onions. Holy hell do I love pickled red onions.

I'm 25. My mom was on my case about getting her a list in an email WITH links. It had to be with links or she'd just ask for it again.

I have tears in my eyes. God damn that's good.

Weeeeeelp. Fuck this shit.

I didn't like the pick at the time, but god damn was Larry Bird right about him.

you rat bastard

My dad usually shifts between Eagle Rare and Buffalo Trace when shopping on a budget. The cheapest I like to go is Four Roses ($14.99 750ml in my town), which I've found to be a great bang for the buck. I'll check for Eagle Rare next time I'm in the store!

Had it a few weeks back. Thought it was actually pretty good.

I liked Old Crow a lot during my last year of college. Couldn't get enough of the stuff. Now that I know about quality bourbons, go to bourbon tastings, etc., I will have to revisit it and see how it holds up.

Except that the Pacers last year, for more than half the season, were playing defense at a historically efficient rate. As in better than any team ever.

As someone who has shared and lived with people of all needs, thank you for your story

Jesus Christ when did coaches become so untouchable? How many times have we seen coaches cost their teams wins because of poor play calls, wasted timeouts, leaving injured players in, etc? It's not like they're the end all be all.

Actually against the rules this year.

Now playing
