The playfulness is what grabbed me. I was channel-hopping and the first scene I saw was "talk about a gangster, this guy's story reads like a B-movie." *cut to tinted film grain and B-movie backstory flashback* I was sold on it ever since. The juxtaposition of dark humor hits my sweet spot.
