You don't follow Chuck Woolery. They say he's less than a god, but more than a man.

Shallow and pedantic. Like a meatloaf.

I grew up on Press Your Luck, The Price Is Right, Scrabble, and the like. I love classic game shows, and I enjoyed reading this article quite a bit! I agree that the rotating stage is an underrated and essential element to capturing the retro feel.

Come on, Brandon. Scrubs Season Eight was excellent, and featured the best finale of (and for) the entire series. "Scrubs: The New Class" (Season Nine) was definitely not up to the standard, but Season Eight rocked.

I'm generally a fan, but haven't gone as deep into the library as I probably should. I think A Clockwork Orange and A.I. (which he wasn't credited on, but still) are particularly good. Obviously 2001: A Space Odyssey was groundbreaking at the time, but I don't think it holds up terribly well.

I've tried it time and again, and I just can't sit through Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. I adore good comedy, including dry comedy and well-done parody/satire, but I just can't connect with the humor of this film, as much as I want to. It's gotten to the point where I consider

No comment/speculation on the identities of the newly-perished-at-the-hands-of-Arthur-Dayne Stark bannermen? I'm disappointed.

_Wow_, that was uncomfortable. If I were Summers in that situation, I'd be in fight or flight mode. (Of course, I also wouldn't mouth off to Burt Reynolds, so this was probably avoidable.)

How about Angel, which ended immediately before the final battle?

The Walking Whites

Ha ha! Oh, you.

It actually was a pretty clever move, ruined by the super idol (which they really didn't have a way of fully knowing about despite Tai's slip of the tongue last week).

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and make believe that's satire.

Spot on with Curtis Manning in 24! I remember thinking at the beginning of the season that a pattern was emerging, and it was clear that he was going to die for some contrived, uncharacteristic reason. And what we got was even worse than what I'd pictured. I'd rather he had died at the hands of a random mook than

I actually felt like the character deaths had some weight here, and fool that I am, was pretty dang worried about Carl (being shot in the head and all). You sound a little jaded about the show - might be time to have someone else take over?

The line that I couldn't stop laughing at was Vincenzo's "You never handed me the f—-ing amulet," followed by the funniest angry look I've ever seen.

I'm a Christian, and I thought this headline was mildly offensive and uncalled for. I am not outraged.

I've been reading A.V. Club comments for years and this caused me to finally create an account so that I could tell you it's one of the best things I've read in a comments section. Kudos.
