Bought mine new in May of 2016, 5 speed manual, will never get rid of it! No need for disel as I average 35+ mpg with bike rack and cargo box on roof! If the 1.8 ever fails me it will be the perfect reason to transplant a 2.0 from a gti or maybe a R engine!
