I can understand some complications of cross-play, especially keyboard and mouse users playing with controller players but it still sucks. I have a friend who owns the game on Xbox though and I was considering buying if I could play against him. I guess this makes that consideration moot.

It’s an extremely janky solution (i.e. not very good) but the only way I’ve found to do it is Remote Play to a PC then some kind of screen mirror/cast to the Android device.
