During one Songkran [Thai water festival] a pickup truck very slowly rolled over the end of my foot, and while the pressure hurt while it was happening there wasn't any lasting damage and didn't even cause me to limp. Which is all to say that it seemed possible enough to me.

I've seen Asian eyes described as "almond shaped", so it appears to be either that or complexion. A softness of features, perhaps? Typically people go with the eyes, though.
