Please cite exactly how you think Windows is gimped compared to Linux. I use both systems in production environments, and I know the benefits and limitations, but gaming in Windows is hardly "gimped" compared to Linux. Video card drivers are the first thing that come to mind.....

VAIO duo runs Autodesk and Adobe software natively. It's also only .8 pounds heavier has 8GB ram, 256GB SSD and an i7. The 5 hours is non-issue with the sheet battery when I travel.

What are you talking about? Have you used the VAIO Duo or only read articles on it? If you have used it you might have a different opinion.

Why are you even discussing the Microsoft Surface when the Sony Duo 11 is 10000000X better? It runs pro already, it has an i7, it has 8gb ram, 256gb ssd, and the battery gets almost 5 hours under continuous usage (with the extended sheet battery it gets 10).
