Thanks so much!!
Thanks so much!!
While I do like Wired, I am starting to think unless a gadget is specifically targeted at hipsters they give it a bad rating. I find this frustrating and tend to not trust their reviews as much as I used to because of this. I am NOT a low end user, and do not care at all about what the uneducated consumer can and…
VAIO duo runs Autodesk and Adobe software natively. It's also only .8 pounds heavier has 8GB ram, 256GB SSD and an i7. The 5 hours is non-issue with the sheet battery when I travel.
What are you talking about? Have you used the VAIO Duo or only read articles on it? If you have used it you might have a different opinion.
What is airplay? I do not have any Apple products and am wondering what the real world equivalent of this protocol is? Is it a proprietary DLNA?
All this talk of visual attention but never a word of the superior colliculus. How unfortunate that there is no speculation to the neural mechanisms of why we perceive the differences in 24 vs 48 fps.
I update more stuff on consoles these days than on my computer. The PS3 needs something updated every time I turn it on...
Why are you even discussing the Microsoft Surface when the Sony Duo 11 is 10000000X better? It runs pro already, it has an i7, it has 8gb ram, 256gb ssd, and the battery gets almost 5 hours under continuous usage (with the extended sheet battery it gets 10).
Have you actually played Uncharted or did you just read the review? I think without letting the users know where you developed your opinions from on these games, the rest of the article should be taken as dubious at best.
Amen.
There is no commercials on HBO. What are you talking about?
It has to do with MSN Messenger properly supporting international IME's properly from a LONNNNG time ago.
you sound like my grandmother.
This comment should be paid attention to by Wall Street. I think Cook is showing that he is out of touch with what people want. It would seem that he still thinks people will buy things that Apple wants them to buy will work in the long term. The average consumer needed to be trained to use technology — they have…
I don't understand why I need to carry around two devices, when one will suffice. I can not get real work done on an ipad, but its ok for watching videos and playing a game. So, I still need to carry a mac book with me. This is heavy, and is kind of a dumb idea. With a surface pro, I can actually get real work…
If the Nexus 7 would get a decent NY Times version, I have absolutely no reason to even think about an iPad mini. Right now, I am thinking. NY Times and Google — get your act together on this. Wired Magazine too.
You clearly don't teach at the University level these days and have to deal with the i-tard generation that has absolutely no idea how to use anything but twitter and Facebook on a computer. When I ask them to open up their word processor of choice they have NO idea what I speak of. I tell them Microsoft Word, Word…
I can say that I never used any punch cards or anything of the like. I used the TRS-80 systems, Timex Sinclair, and Atari systems as well as others. I will be 40 years old next year what you speak of is indeed my mother's computer. My Father gave me my first computer and he knew how to use it much better than I did…
Where is the dock for the Nexus 7? Now it has native horizontal mode - where is the dock?
I hate to say this, but Grandma will be dead soon, and its not worth spending time to re-do operating systems to accommodate an aging population — the fact that today's elderly are not technologically savvy is a unique event, and will not happen again. Tomorrow's elderly is myself, and I personally have had a computer…
