Carioca is outraged by Sharon Osbourne. Recognitions is outraged by Caioca’s outrage. Carioca is outraged by recognitions’ outrage over Carioca’s outrage. You are now outraged by Carioca’s outrage over recognitions’ outrage at Carioca’s outrage. This whole thread is an outrage ouroboros.

Not commenting on Dowd, of course, but I don’t think I’ll put any stock into any review of this movie. I’m going to assume most people either decided they loved it or hated it before they watched it and won’t be swayed either way. I only have a mild morbid curiosity in it and not enough to spend four hours watching it.

Yes, if you can find a few bad actors infiltrating a real, justified movement it reduces them down to being equal with a group who believes Donald Trump is a messenger of God sent to stop Tom Hanks from fulfilling his deal with Satan to rape babies in a pizza parlor’s basement. You got us.

Do “traditional” Republicans even exist? I don’t even know what that means anymore. Republicans who still hate the poor, POC and women, but don’t talk about it except when voting against them? I mean, I hate to say it, but Trump did the country a favor by exposing the entire party as what they truly are.

It’s true. Everyone is far left communists according to Republicans and the truth is that there really isn’t any far left politicians, with most Democrats being centrist to center right.

Alamo has a very disturbing history of protecting sex pests, sexual abusers and allowing their staff to be harassed by customers if they spend enough money.

People are also calling for The Cat in the Hat to be banned, but the company has said no for the time being. Apparently someone has decided that The Cat is a minstrel stereotype and the subtext is about how he is not welcome in a white home. Not sure where someone comes up with this, but they did.

The only problem I have with the current wave of “woke” horror is that most of them just feel like lazy cash-ins on the current zietgeist and have no idea how to examine the topics they bring up in thoughtful or clever ways. For every one Get Out or Spiral you get four movies where it’s just some character giving

That’s not fair. Some of the jokes Carlos Mencia stole from other comedians were funny.

This is embarrassing, but kind par for the course for all the GMG sites. There’s no interest in anyone actually knowing what they’re talking about. It’s all about snark and screaming about isms and phobes.

She’s perfect for this role, but at the same time McKinnon doing these over the top impressions is getting kind of stale. Might be better to see someone else in the role right now.

It’s fine. It’s neither as great or bad as people claim. Phoenix is great and it’s so barely The Joker, you can pretend that it’s not him.

If you want to see Ari Aster’s idea of a comedy, watch his short film The Strange Thing About The Johnsons. Laugh riot, that guy.

Exactly. I’m all for Kirby and Ditko getting their due and it should have happened while they were still alive, Stan Lee be damned. The current wave of criticism seems more concerned with the salacious elements of Lee’s life than actually restoring glory to Kirby and Ditko.

My problem with all of this is that all of this has been known for decades, but noone wanted to talk about it. You bring up what he did to Kirby and Ditko even a few years before he died and you were an asshole for talking about this beloved legend. Now he’s dead and every parasite looking to make a dime or get some

I don’t know who most of those are, but Ethan Van Sciver is an idiot and it figures he’s have this kind of a mornonic take on both ends of the field.

The best way for me to not hear from Gina Carano is for places like AV club to stop talking about Gina Carano. She’s not exactly cancelled if you can’t let go of making snide articles about her. I wouldn’t even remember an idiot like Kevin Sorbo existed or know about his stupid views if people weren’t bitching about

I agree with you. I just think that’s what the perception became. Every time she started dating someone, you knew a song was coming. It became a meme. A guy you dated for two weeks probably isn’t song worthy.

I think the only reason Swift got so much shit is because it became a steady stream of new boyfriend, new break up, new song about awful ex. Then it gets viewed as you last boyfriend was an asshole, I’m with you. Your last six boyfriends were assholes, maybe you’re the asshole.

There was a time after You’re Next and The Guest where I was excited to see what Wingard and Barrett would do next. Now it’s just a string putting their spin on other people’s IPs. I understand why they’d take the jobs, but it’s still disappointing.
