I really shouldn't complain, my 3vz has 336k miles on it with no sign of trouble. (I have no idea how many Gaskets its gone through prior me buying it at 328k).
Compared to the 3vz-e, which will pop a headgasket if you look at it wrong, 5vz is a thing of beauty. The ability to use anything over 3rd gear going uphill is nice too.
