Years ago, I rode a 2008ish Sportster 1200 and a Honda Magna from whenever honda still made the magna back to back. Well, I don’t understand harley buyers at all.

Harley’s customers are it’s biggest problem, they’re (with exceptions) exclusionary with out being seen as cool. Deserved or not Harley’s are associated with racist old white guys, Methamphetamines (literally the only drug that has zero cool factor outside of its own subculture), the worst of classic Rock (at cooks

I feel like now is the time for a Mercury Cougar revival. basically a slab-sided mustang with a bigger backseat and trunk. A real GT car.

my (honestly pretty uninformed) opinion is that with the infield track being that narrow and tight, these big heavy stock cars wont be able to pass each other unless one has a crash or serious error, basically the opposite of MotoGP.

have you ever wanted to see a Colorado battle a Hilux on track?

This appeals to my proletarian sensibilities. F1 be damned! someone needs to start a “Less than 24 hours of slightly better than lemons” race series.

Tradesman and laborers are treated like garbage by tech companies, they should definitely organize to protect their rights. *A billy Bragg record plays quietly in the background*

I for one, will welcome TVR back to the party

“Why is Ford giving the GT such a horrid interior???”

Driven axle I-beams are sheer lunacy. but God damn if I-beams aren’t the coolest way to suspend the front of a 4x2 bombing through the desert.

If FF, in their current setup, ever mass produce a vehicle for sale in the USA, I will eat a peanutbutter and wheelbearing grease sandwich.

don’t forget cycling and the Glorious Serie A

Contador or Indurian? What? No one said it had to be motorcycle related.

they should call it “The Madagascar Twin” nearly an africa twin but smaller.

I’d be interested in a test, Dyneema has a very low melting temperature which, despite its strength, makes it less than ideal for abrasion resistance. There are (possibly apocryphal) stories of Dyneema climbing gear failing far below its load rating due to heat caused by the friction of a knot tightening.

I did my first long motorcycle ride this week. Roughly 850 miles in 3 days, from San Clemente to Monterrey and back mostly on Hwy 1 and 101 with some detours on Mullholland hwy, [Redacted] rd and the hallowed grounds of Laguna Seca. At the end of every day I was asleep by 9:30 and woke up late, sore back, sore butt,

Cotd.

You heard it here first folks, it’s Vaporware. Do not invest, preorder, reserve, ect.

The engine so powerful, that when TVR put it in a car, even they realized it would be irresponsible to sell.

First of all, excellent work so far. I really enjoy the breadth of the motorcycling community this site covers. Dirt bikes, cruisers, adventure, motocross, and overpriced hipstercycles are all discussed with interest and without prejudice (but a bit of good natured ribbing ). I also like the emphasis on bikes that us
