The Simpsons much like this article is definitely not politically neutral. The writers have admitted on a myriad of occasions that they are liberal leaning. My goodness this was just such a good episode it tore me apart

The two part episode dealing with to face will always be my favourite but this was heart wrenching and it was a genuinely good episode
