Well, the BBC finally got what they wanted, which was a politically correct show about cars. Unfortunately most of the car people I know are far from PC, so basically they alienated the audience that they built over 20+ seasons.

I agree. Diversity is great when it happens for the right reasons. It’s not great when the government forces us to implement it.

Maybe someday we will just choose the best candidates and actually have the best of something. We are getting closer because everyone is considered now, but people are now chosen because of their diversity. That doesn’t get the best. It just gets something different.

Sorry to step out of line but I actually value the experience and the talent of the presenters more than how well they fill some race or gender quota. You do them a disservice. The show isn’t better because someone is black or has a vagina. It’s better because the hosts are better at what they do.

Man, that’s my fault, sometimes I forget not everybody reads about trucks all day. I’ll add that in! But basically, this truck has its air intake raised up with a snorkel. Now on a lot of gasoline-burning cars that wouldn’t be enough because there are lots of little intakes called “breathers” that are hard to see.
