the carrot test was performed on multiple vehicles with powered hatches and frunks. none passed. subaru, mercedes, ford all bisected the carrots
the only way a vehicle will achieve better fuel economy is less parasitic loss, aerodynamics, and a leaner air/fuel ratio.
