with the electric motor torque this is capable of 7700. what happens when the battery is exhausted? no way that it generates enough power to recharge the battery and provide power to the motor.

having driven route 66 this year i can say that i would not want to do the trip in an electric vehicle. i dont recall seeing any chargers or signs telling you were to pull off to charge at.

for the most part fords maps update over the air or have been a sd card. usually the maps update is a year or two old compared to the road infastructure updates.

fords adaptive cruise control leaves a lot to be desired. its lane keeping ability is on par with a buzzed driver. bouncing between lane markers and misjudging curves. often i find it crowding the center line but as soon as a right hand turn lane appears it attempts to follow it off the road. i cant imagine not having…
