having driven route 66 this year i can say that i would not want to do the trip in an electric vehicle. i dont recall seeing any chargers or signs telling you were to pull off to charge at.
for the most part fords maps update over the air or have been a sd card. usually the maps update is a year or two old compared to the road infastructure updates.
fords adaptive cruise control leaves a lot to be desired. its lane keeping ability is on par with a buzzed driver. bouncing between lane markers and misjudging curves. often i find it crowding the center line but as soon as a right hand turn lane appears it attempts to follow it off the road. i cant imagine not having…

the styling isnt working for me. its a mix of ford expedition and hyundai/kia. the kickup in the rear window/ d pillar doesnt fit the overall design language either.
