for the most part yes. the a4 was just a badged up passat for decades. they have elevated the brand since but you got the same cheap materials as the vw. thats why there are hundreds of reviews comparing the two even today. materials have changed but the formula is the same.

bled their brake lines..... a parked semi’s brakes are always bled. takes pressure to release them. only way to do that is to start the engine.... or thread in a rod to release the spring pressure on the air cylinder at each brake drum.

the conti was on a fusion platform? thats a bit of a strectch. there are 3 CD4 platforms. the smallest being the fusion and largest the taurus and conti. so the conti is a rebadged taurus
