lincoln needs to be a dedicated brand on its own platforms. not share any body panels with ford. electronics sure but no switch gear. bespoke buttons steering wheel and gauges/infotainment. needs to be cutting edge.

idk how i want to feel about this movie. its a cash grab. they chose the wrong actors and are just cashing in on the actors hype following recent releases. there are better choices that more resemble the games characters physical traits.

the thing about aluminum is it can be contaminated by steel. thats why you cannot take it to any body shop. they have to have dedicated tools for aluminum body work. like a gluten free menu option not being able to be prepared on the same surface as the rest of the food.

also seeing how a portion of people use medical devices and leaning over the tailgate to reach deeper into the bed could put said medical devices near the magnets, ford may want to rethink this.

my guess is that ford has pulled the ability following tests that show the vehicle can loose control due to the high center of gravity and soft tires.

i want to like the aviator. nearly 500hp (but what is all that power doing 0-60 in 6sec), nice interior, mostly ok looks (something about the roof slope rubs me the wrong way). 2022 face lift reminds me of a 5 or 7 series if they made a lifted wagon. kinda meh. the wheels are kind of terrible also. nothing exciting…
