this has become a subscription. like everything else. a feature they can stopp providing at their will even though you have paid for the tech and hardware.
fords displays it onto a small screen and not onto the windshield like other manufactures. this seems like a bandaid as ford is late to the game. i can see that small screen getting damaged when cleaning the car.
Its a lot of coin for a vehicle that doesnt do anything particularly well. Comfort is low, materials poor, fuel economy is worse than the regular ice wrangler.

if you are a company that developes parts for the aftermarket and havent gotten your hand on a truck you will be late to the game and face an uphill battle as the patents are filed. this is the cost of doing business and if that investment turns into a couple million dollars in sales it was worth it.

inline 6 is bullet proof as was the v8. solid transmission. no mention of the suspension as merc of the era loved hydraulic units that were nightmares. being a lower model trim i would say it is on steel springs so that shouldnt be an issue.

Where are they going to get 50,000 new battery packs? Manufacturers cannot even keep up with production as is and now they need to make 3 yrs worth of batteries. There will be several more fires as owners wait for replacements

how bad was the 4 cyl to spend the money to engineer the 305/350 into this car for 160ish hp? sure it has more torque but what are you gonna do with a 3 spd auto? -an one wheel squeal is about it
