Also, I don't consider Frasier a spin-off of Cheers. Fraiser had enough slight continuity differences that Frasier should be considered a parallel universe. Besides, there was an episode of Frasier which showed that parallel universes exist.

In terms of sales no. In terms of quality of output, they did amazing more often than not. They just didn't have Marvel's marketing juggernaut to support them.
