So many tweets about super immigrant plumbers! Glad people liked that one. My mom once said something along those lines about Mario. Like the Mario Boys or something…
He always looks at me and kinda shakes his head like, dude, you were a weird kid.
Blasphemy!!!
I worked with Emily on Aliens in America. She really is amazingly gifted and one hell of a show runner.
My mom refused to let me see tons of R rated movies in the theater… but for some reason we had a ton at home on VHS that Barry would record that went unnoticed.
Not sure you guys should even begin to comprehend a timeline because I used this episode as a way to show there just isn't one. I certainly had the option to keep movies in the same year, but went with the 80something concept and threw it in a blender!
We've talked about an episode where Adam makes a movie and the AV Club reviews it terribly and Adam spirals out. For real!
That ending was terrifying and unnecessary. Just saying.
:)
Stripes was featured in a previous episode where Beverly let Adam see some of it as an apology. So there ya go.
Yeah, it was movie overload in this episode. I wish I would've taken down the Dark Crystal poster after that Dark crystal joke. It was overload for sure. And I was only supposed to pick the sloth OR Dark crystal joke but I liked them both equally, so I left both in!
Me too.
Porkys 2 was clearly trying to do an E..T. riff but it was so surreal. I remember the kid said — Me Ted introducing himself and they called him Meathead. And at the end he used telekinesis so their camp could win. WTF???
Originally, Beverly forced Barry to kiss the clay head when she thought it was her and it was so funny, but insanely creepy so I cut it!
My favorite part of that video is his sweater. What a sweater.
I met them at Chad Kremp's wedding — he sat us together. And the episode was born in that very moment, cause man, I was so jealous of Handsome Ben.
The real Emmy was sickened by the feelings I made her feel.
Pops is 80s in actual age, but not spirit. And yes, with Family DD which was still 1980something the grandparents would play — spry ones that is. And it's odd, because we are saying would Adam play the cute old man card… and I'm Adam. So if I say I probably would've been so desperate and nerdy that I would've…
I love how George delivered — I'm a human man!
