This is what I was afraid of when I first heard about this movie, no creativity, just go back to the well and dig up every single old character, rather than actually put them around new surroundings all the jokes will be about the nostalgia of the first movie which will get old after 5 minutes.

The issue with that is a theater release does not guarantee a movie will perform well. Huge budget movies lose money all the time and it’s the studios and the Billionaires that lose millions of dollars. The Actor still gets paid, they will lose out on back end obviously, but it’s the studios that pay 200 plus million…
