@streamheat: As you've read so much more of these writings than I would want to handle, can you explain to me how the low-to-middle-income masses are consistently convinced to press for increased rights for the rich and powerful, while their living standard is reduced every year through actions by the rich and

@Felipe058: Of course not, but that doesn't stop people from producing BS like "What the Bleep do We Know" and trying to "educate the public" through mainstream television sources such as Discovery/Science channel (yes, I've really seen this stuff on there. It made me cry inside).

@vinylrake: Like when someone is giving a eulogy at a funeral, and inadvertently says the best (unanswered) "that's what she said" you've heard all month?

@Felipe058: Quantum physics, as is its very nature, is two things at once.

@comrade_leviathan: Thanks, pointing it out actually made it make more sense, and look like something that would fly vs, you know, crash in a burning fiery explosion.

@mrm: Do they give this infernal robot the 20ms+ handicap on reactions that us humans have, just to make it fair?

Guinea Pigs! Everywhere! I'm so... Startled!!!!

@give_a_man_a_match: You can actually make a lighter explode by keeping it lit too long, and when they explode, they do so with enough force that little shards of plastic could be propelled into the user's eyes, or those of others standing nearby. Whether or not this creates a fiery Michael Bay style blast is another

@chefgon: I had one explode due to a lit...we'll call it a cigarette...being sat down on it. It exploded in a puff of butane vapor but despite the combusting material next to it, nothing caught fire, though a 2 player game of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was interrupted.

@ShinobiRAGE: For the professional market, 600 bucks for a complete camera system is a drop in the bucket. 10 years ago they would have paid 50 or 60 grand for a similar product and not gotten half of what this one can do, or withstand.

@lamagnumrt: Wouldn't Sprint's WiMax network count as 4G?

@Jeff: What ran fast enough in 1999 to warrant water cooling? I remember that even heat sinks weren't being universally used as late as 1997...

@OrbitalGun: Then what do you use if you have to sign a record contract?

@komododave: I would bet 20 bucks that these people are from the same groups as the ones who tell gays, democrats, and atheists to "deal with it"

@KamWrex: That's technically the opposite of arbitrary.

@plazmatyk: I've often looked at audio equipment the same way wine is valued... You know how more expensive wine "tastes better", right?

@plazmatyk: They're much more expensive. In the audio world, the price automatically makes a difference in the sound quality... no matter what it is.

@Howard Blair: In a slightly different form, the same "pure carbon" is called pencil "lead" so go figure...
