Winner.
Winner.
I think he was mocking you because that song is from 2012.
When I started listening to CBB, I had the same feelings re: Aukerman. Took me several episodes to warm up to him. Now I have come so far around on him I often enjoy him more than the guests.
Same here. 229 is so incredibly funny. That one has the whole Herzog directing Grown Ups 2 bit, among many other classics.
Agreed! The Zach Woods/Eric the Intern combo was gold. Then again, I thought the Heidecker/Daly CBB was virtually unlistenable, and that ended up in the Best.
Not quite. Joss isn't show-running, but he is exec producing, and while he's not in the writers room, he is, to quote the linked article below, "reading every script, every story, and giving notes and rewrites."
Jay Pharoah got noticed because of the impressions videos he put up on YouTube.
Yeah, it's fantastic. My favorite female pop album since Robyn's Body Talk. I Blame Myself is insanely good.
The whole finale of that movie is just sheer terror.
Seconded. Last Wave is fantastic.
Yes this is a perfect jump scare. Gets me every time.
The suspense in the Dallas-in-the-vents scene is incredible. But I don't like the payoff. The alien reaching his arms out just looks silly to me. The one off moment in the movie.
One of the best quick scares ever.

I agree that there aren't any bad tracks, but there sure as hell aren't any great ones to my ears.
That's my biggest complaint too. Dude's one of the greatest rock drummers ever (IMO) and he's mostly relegated to the background here. No drumming clinics along the lines of "Back & Forth" or "The Other Side."
I don't think it's as bad as Weezer's comeback (or, I dunno, The Stooges one?). But it's definitely not Emergency & I or Change. It feels like a bunch of so-so Plan B-Sides. Even the better songs can't stand alongside any of their classic tracks. I'd go B- rather than C+, but it's a pretty big disappointment none…
You hang out with too many black metal dudes. Outside of that scene, pretty much everyone thinks Sunbather is fantastic.
Gross.
Whedon's shows definitely got better over time. That being said, I personally enjoyed the first few episodes of Buffy and Dollhouse FAR more than I've enjoyed Agents of SHIELD to date. The pop singer ep of Dollhouse is terrible, but episode two, while not amazing, is pretty solid. Dollhouse was a also better…
