CM7 FTW! is all I have to say here.

What was used was an experimental Colt rifle that I'm not even sure the name of.

Different notification system? Android's and WebOS's are almost perfect, while iOS is still stuck in the era of 2006.

Because you only get delayed updates and reduced security on Android if you are basically at the intelligence level of a monkey. I got an Aria, and 3 hours later had rooted and installed a custom ROM on it. It's extremely easy. It's stupidly simple. Android runs a Linux kernel as well, so it is secure, and although

Nice brief explanation, except for the fact that the MP7 is extremely uncommon and isn't used by the US military.

This has been out for a long time in the form of Chromium. I just download another build every couple days.

Yeah, same. I just end up capturing them inside a water bottle and shaking them to death/drowning them.

I just bought an HTC Aria, and it's great running CM7. I'm happy with it, and while the speeds could be a little better, It's a great phone. The browser is zippy and cyanogen has made all the crapware go away.

@R2C2: I just use adblock... but hey. They do that, and it's not fair.

My friends are doing that. When the bionic comes out, one guy is getting it and the other guy is buying the first guy's droid X.

I'm wearing that watch right now!!! WHAT? Am I a terrorist? Save me from me!

No way. If I get hardware I want to own it. I don't care about a warranty since I void most of mine anyway (hardware tinkering, rooting, jailbreaking, etc).

On iOS I get the app via installous first, and if I like it, I buy it. If not, I delete it. There's no good trial method.

The Droid was quite the phone. It was advertised with the strange, disembodied voice; the robotic "hands"; and the huge, red, mysterious eye. It was intriguing. It was strange. It was fast, cool, svelte, powerful, and new. Unlike the iPhone 4, I believe that this phone "changed everything". Later in the year, we'd get

Phone (LG chocolate) comes with me rarely. I hate the ghastly thing. It's less than useful.

How do you check your storage? It's gone away from where it used to be for me, at least. Using a very recent build of Chromium.

Yeah! That's what I'm talking about. I used to write GUIs into all of my little tools, but now I just use command line. It's much easier to write in (especially in Java) and I don't have to waste as much time.

If the UI is a jumbled piece of crap (referencing many Android skins here, and partially even stock Android) then the user will never get to experience the amazing functionality, and they might even use less of the features because they can't access any of them in a reasonable manner, or they're just too confusing.

It's just the fact that other people can't do it. I was jailbreaking back in the dark ages (iPod Touch 2g, 2.2) and that's when it was a bit harder than just following instructions. I just tend to spend more time and energy on it, and therefore I can find interesting solutions to things that others don't.

I'd love to be able to do that... It would be fantastic to earn money at something I'm good at and love! I just hope that later in life the option will still be available.
