Maybe some people realize it’s not worth wading in a politically charged topic that isn’t as black and white as easy Twitter hashtags make it out to be.

What about the environmental and social impact of mining all that lithium for his electric car batteries?

I’d say yes, but we got 4.5 seasons of Person of Interest, which they didn’t cancel even after it largely shed the pretense that it was just another procedural.

Book-Debra IS a blonde...

While I too am loving AoS’ current swan song, I do think it owes a heavy debt to Legends of Tomorrow for the current styling. It remains a show more grounded in plot, but elements like the opening credits, the outfits, and the general tone - such a doing a themed episode (Film Noir) - are very much things LoT has

Personally felt that “Show Yourself” was the better of the two big anthems.

I think Ingrid is out of character if you stick to her characterization in the first half of the show. By the time she has the sleepover with Nevaeh, it starts to shift.

It was definitely a much welcome surprise in how strong it felt overall. There were also a surprising amount of very dark jokes in there which I loved.

Loses points for incompletion? Ditto the OA.

Seems tangentially related, but it seems to owe more to Black Mirror concepts.

Maybe it was the PoI nostalgia, but Enrico Colantoni managed to be more compelling in this guest spot than most actors on the show.

The wait for season 6 will be excruciating. The gaps were already long, and now there might be production delays in this strange new world... Two years is a possibility.

It does do one good thing, IMO: It’s a better explanation for the extra regenerations than “we’ve gifted you a new set through a crack in reality, without ever seeing you or touching you”

Unless something’s been said in interviews, I get the bad feeling Kim’s not making it out of this series alive.

I love every single insanely gorgeous visual of this absolutely crazy show. That opening scene/credits was perfect.

From what I gather - though I haven’t seen it- they’re using the Astra plot of the NBC Constantine’s Pilot episode as their basis for Legends.

That opening scene with Sharon Stone was absolutely perfect. Hilarious in its understated way, and with solid dialogue outside of it.

Only one episode in and I was getting that kind of vibe from the show, which is disappointing. It also looks as if they rushed through all of the plot? The episode descriptions definitely lean towards a huge chunk of the story having been covered, or all; properly handled, this could have had 1-2 parts per season.

That would be 11/22/63. The published ending is Joe Hill’s, not Stephen King’s. (The original ending is on King’s website.)

The episodes are always a fun watch, but there’s something extra delightful about the dancing credits. This episode’s was especially amazing!
