I’m sure that during the early 1900's, the horse and buggy traders/dealers first laughed at the idea of people riding around in cars.

Sure but that’s the limit, it doesn’t mean you have to drive 85. A driver could drive 50 or 55 if they want.

My take as well.

Best guess is that since it’s West Texas and the age of the adult, it’s one of those times where he fondly remembered his Grandpappy letting him drive when no one or very little people were on the road as a kid and was allowing this one to have that same memory. This happens in the South all the time, not so much

Again, depends where you live. My state paid for my charger through.. yep... taxpayer money. Many states have full or partial incentives that cover that cost.

Well, who do you think is going to pay for:

If it were the typical Everyman boat or car, the government wouldn’t have a problem impounding things and seeing who comes-a-callin’, then make them prove they own it before leveling some heavy fine.

He must be talking about Hummer, Model X, Lucid or Taycans. I can only wonder if he means sales/luxury tax.

Too many factors.

Like to know many of these are they actually planning to ship to East/West coast?

It’s going to be interesting to see how this current gas crisis changes speeds up the EV adoption among common ICE drivers. Watching my local nightly news with interviews where people complain about $60 fill-ups is like hearing people who live in New York or L.A. about traffic; yeah it sucks but I already know enough

It’s well known that in addition to his other undesirable personal qualities, Putin is a racist as are many on his staff and a portion of the Russian people, of course not all but quite a bit.

The amount of flier miles you can rack up means your 50th flight will probably be free though.

True but that’s not what what I’m talking about. Making it optional means you don’t have to buy it, but allows someone else the opportunity to do so,

I like that option as well.

Tell that to a Tesla owner...

“ Reservations for the Pear cost $250 for the first one and $100 for the second.”

Now if we can address the US ban on digital sideview monitors next.

Well, at least it’s an upgrade from pedo...
