After driving a BEV with the charger in front of the car for years now, I’m not sure I’d ever want to go to a rear-placed refueling location. That seems backwards (no pun intended).

You don’t have to afford a 40k car. That’s your choice and the choice of others.

That could be from an infrastructure standpoint which I mentioned but honestly outside of Tesla, you don’t hear of young people talking about any kind of EV.
