Eh, you’re right in that it’s probably a bit of a stretch with the Vettes, but I do know for a fact those 4.7-5.0 times are slower than reality. I believe as-tested is close to 4.3-4.4.

Have always thought the same thing. These will walk Corvettes, stock. Why change what the AMG gods deemed was sufficient and adequate?

I was OK with most of this pending a PPI, but then saw those exhaust tips and the missing intake hose...

Haven’t touched my Xbox in months, but this article made me kick it back on and download this. So far, so good.

The saddest part of this is the fact that some poor bastard will buy this, because it’s $8,000 and Facebook marketplace. You stay in self-quarantine long enough, and even this may start to look like a real Viper.

When I was a kid my neighbor’s son had a black 300ZX. T-tops, tan interior, twin turbo, stick, subtle exhaust work done. I will always remember the whoosh of the turbos as he drove by. Great sound.

Woahhh tempting. Specs/deets?

I like this, but wouldn’t cracking that rear/third row window effectively total this thing out?

Hey now, Moonshiners is some quality television. Don’t you rope those poor hillbillies into this!

Good point! A follow up question from someone who knows little more than average about tires: given your statement above, is it still safe to assume that winter tires will perform better in snow/ice conditions than all-seasons? Albeit not quite as well as snow tires. Correct?

Nice

It’s on the chopping block!

Damn, new headlights make such a difference. Hnnnngggg NP

FWIW, I have read in a number of places that a) higher-mileage vehicles are less prone to failures (that said, 115k in 22 years may be considered “low mileage”?), and b) the ‘00-’05 motors were 5-10% more prone to failure than the models up to ‘99.

Man, this would be so sweet for flat-towing my Jeep on a four wheel-camping trip...

Because I own a Jeep Wrangler, and nothing left in that thing is worth anything close to the cost and hassle of replacing the soft top.

Good 15-20 foot ZJ and mmmm those seats. Can you imagine how cozy it would be to wheel this?

I’m sure this has been asked before, but isn’t this van something like 80,000 euros?

Is it wrong that I am suspicious of the upkeep of this car based on their installation of Yokohama Parada tires?

Could we attribute this growth/consistency to their now numerous trim levels, some of which equip AWD? Us Americans do love our AWD. It makes you unstoppable in all weather conditions, you know.
