any DIY solutions for this? Maybe a new Lifehacker Challenge for rope light?

Too bad there isn't a description of when the photo was taken. I could walk into any Apple or Android presentation an hour before it starts and take a similar photo.
Yeah, POS phone of the year...
Considering the fact that no one knows whether this is an hour before the presentation starts or right after it ended. Like many have listed above, Android and Apple do the exact same thing....
You know who also looks far from ridiculous? Ray Donovan....
Not sure, but I think that the chlorine evaporates out of the water. I used to do the same thing with the water that I was going to use in my drip coffee maker. I would set it out the night before. I could notice a difference in the taste of the coffee.
My parents live in the sticks of Kentucky. Their only option for broadband is in the form of a 3g usb modem or hotspot (or satellite internet, which is almost twice the cost). They only get 2 bars of service from Verizon. I was thinking of a way to make browsing there a much better experience. I came across some…
Ha! and then Gizmodo posts this: http://gizmodo.com/fruits-and-veg…
I was mainly focusing on the nutritional aspect of it, but you raise a good point. I am not challenging your last statement either. I am sure its true. It comes down to a person's moral values. Some believe that animals and plants were put on this planet to provide for us, others disagree. Both view points are fine.…
Well there ya go! It would still be interesting to hear them come out and say "Yeah, we saw these fish and were like, I wonder if those things can fly?" I WANT TO BELIEVE!
Feel free to do the ancient aliens meme on me, BUT the fact that our government experimented with saucer shaped air craft is quite interesting. Most air craft are designed by flying objects we see in nature (bugs, birds, bats, etc.) There are not any (that I know of, and I am not a zoologist/biologist) saucer shaped…
That is a good point. I just like the premise of an enemy of my enemy is my friend. Like with the Lizard and the other villains, they are bad, but no evil. They want money, power, etc. Carnage is pure evil, almost like the Joker in Batman. Spidey hasn't had a movie against a pure evil like that.
Can anyone explain to me why they won't do a symbiot trilogy? Seriously. Venom and Carnage. You would have action, drama, horror, and comedy. I just don't get why no one will try it.
While plant based proteins are great, I have never heard of a chicken dying from producing eggs. Now I know the large egg producers don't have the best conditions for their livestock, but that's why you raise your own chickens or buy from a local farmer. Eggs do have cholesterol, but they are perfectly fine as long as…
I guess better resource management is no longer seen as a benefit?
This article is true in terms of vitamin/mineral content for non-local produce purchased at the grocery store compared to canned vegetables/fruits. However, not so much for phytochemicals, which many of the main health benefits of a plant based diet are based. Pasteurization, all while is excellent for making our food…
Wrong. Atom means x86. Most of the RT tablets have ARM chips. RT has a place in the market. I think it will make a whole lot more sense when they merge it with Windows Phone.
I don't understand what you mean by "It just doesn't work." By that you mean every computer running windows 8 "just doesn't work". I understand that windows 8 is kind of a big transition from OSX or even Win 7, but don't say something doesn't work because you don't know how to use it. It's kind of like my grandpa…
