A buddy of mine had a 1990 Prelude S when we were in high school. It was a great car. Not fast, but handled decently well...I would call it “sporty.” Perfect car for a high school kid to get into a little trouble without crossing the line. Unfortunately, due to the terrible dealer network, I would never consider a Mitsubishi. The nearest dealer to me (I live in a county of over 1 million people) is 19 miles away...in a different state. With traffic that would be over an hour. Just not feasible for service.

No worries about the dash itself, the OEM radio normally takes up that entire area that is now filled by the current radio, aftermarket gauge and extra plastic...so no actual damage to the original dash.
