I’ll say this, Memento is the best depiction of how anterograde amnesia (by far the most common type of amnesia) works that I’ve ever seen.

The linguistic ones are the worst.  Using ‘ask’ as a noun (Suzie talks of making a ‘big ask’) is another example.

In season 1 Midge’s husband steals a Bob Newhart routine that is from an album, The Button Down Mind… that didn’t cone out for another 4 or so years.  The show is full of things like this that drive me nuts.
