Sure, that makes sense.  I don’t mean one of those old things though.  I mean giving my card and then later being presented with a bill that I have to add a tip to and sign.  I haven’t done that here in probably 7 or 8 years.

A couple of years ago in the US I had to sign a credit card slip.  It was like living in the middle ages or something....

It’s really common where I live, and not in chains.  I’m in Canada though, so that may be a difference.  I find the US is often quite behind us in debit card and CC use.

In Canada the (governing) Liberal Party will not allow anti choice people to run as MPs. As well, we have no abortion law. None.  Haven’t had one since the 1980s.  It’s a medical procedure.  That’s it.
