“he would have let her have it.”
“he would have let her have it.”
The default Sansa hate drives me crazy...at every opportunity she has tried to give control of the North to one of her brothers. She could have fought against Jon becoming the King in the North and she had a much stronger claim than him. She could have told him, I want the throne and the only way you’ll get the North…
I’m not feeling Jon and Dany just yet either. I was never fully sold on them hooking it up, but since it seems inevitable, I’m hoping we’ll get to see their relationship evolve.
Jon and Dany are definitely going to bang but I saw the opposite of chemistry there. Like they seemed bored to be there.
The most laughable part of this whole episode was the post-episode commentary telling us how riveting the meeting of Ice and Fire was when in reality it was the wet blanket one expected it to be when Pouty McPoutersen and Starey McStarey finally met.
Man pour one out for Olenna Tyrell. Her character will so be missed, but she went out like a G.
OLENNA TYRELL DROPPED THE MIC ON THAT DEATH SCENE!
The same supervillian progression happened in the books, too, so if anyone is at fault, it’s GRRM. Granted, show Euron is way more cartoonish than book Euron (who I thought was WAY creepier and more terrifying).
Sansa still has Brienne there to protect her, and it seems pretty clear that Brienne sees what Jon sees when LF looks at Sansa. I get why Jon reacted the way he did, he knows (or at least has an idea) what LF is and probably really doesn’t like this creepy, evil older man creeping on his sister.
Why does no one else see this?!
It’s thrilling to know, for instance, that “Prince that was promised” could also mean “Princess,” but the expository way Missandei explained the translation to Daenerys was pulled straight from a freshman screenwriting class.
Anything would be better than this. How did they go from Dornish ladies supporting Myrcella as queen to murdering her??
The maesters handle the ravens and the NW doesn’t have a maester right now.
Ugh, Euron. This show can’t seem to survive without having a savage male villain to chew the scenery in the most over-the-top way. Viserys is nasty, but oops, he’s dead, so here’s Joffrey. What a vicious little beast, amiright? But oops, he’s dead, so here, have a torturing sociopath named Ramsay. But oops, he’s dead,…
I binge-watched all the episodes before the start of the season, and I have to say that Dany is seriously not a good leader. She consistently ignores the advice of people who turn out to be right (Qotho when he tells her not to let the witch near Drogo, the fat guy in Qarth when he tells her that, at the moment, she…
I am so happy Hot Pie is still alive and is doing well. He seems happy. I hope he makes it to the end and continues to make his bread.
Oh, and last thing - it really bothers me that Dany doesn’t have a Dothraki on her council. She’s planning to deploy them to fight for her, so why doesn’t she have at least one representative of their army in her war room? It makes them into tools instead of people, and after spending years with the Khalasar in one…
Ellaria and the Sand Snakes being killed or captured was awesome. They really needed to go. The show totally fucked up Dorne and took it in a way that made zero sense.
Aside from Greyworm and Missandei FINALLY consummating their love—a sure sign that Greyworm is fucking toast this season
“[T]he Sand Snakes have consistently been some of the most interesting and compelling characters on the show...” This has to be among the most ridiculous things I have ever seen posted on this site.
